Uses of a Survival Bracelet
A survival bracelet can provide a need as simple as a shoestring or as dramatic as a rope for rescue efforts. The uses are as endless as the uses for any ball of twine or coil of rope -- simply wear this on your wrist.
For example, you have shopped for antiques all day long - and you finally find an adorable table that you just love. But it won't fit in the trunk of the car. Unravel your bracelet, use the cord to tie down the trunk and head for home. Problem solved!
or - You are running in your first 10K - and your shoestring breaks. Open your bracelet, create a shoe string, and continue on in the race.
or - Your dog escaped from the backyard fence and you have chased him all over the neighborhood. You finally have him, but you left his leash at home. Create a leash with your bracelet and securely walk him on home.

I am surprised that my grandson doesn't already have one of these. I will have to get him one.
No, as a matter of fact, I'd never heard of them until you shared this page.
Well this is the first I have heard of survival bracelets. Must look into them a little bit more, thinkin' my hubby would like to wear one for work and hunting.
I've never heard of them until now, I wonder what uses they have?
I'd probably get use from one for one of the reasons you mentioned - tying down the trunk. You never know when you'll need a piece of cord or string - and nothing else will do.

I've seen these before and really need to purchase a couple for my sons for their birthdays. Really, though, I think just about anyone could think of a situation where they might wish they had one, so I wouldn't mind having one myself!
